Do what you can with what you have

Creating a sense of belonging

We follow the call of excitement. Where there is excitement, there is energy. And where there is energy, there are opportunities. That is why we initiate and support projects within and beyond our music that embrace participation, empowerment and creating opportunities to be seen and heard. So that we can all show up, create things, break them down, experiment and surprise ourselves.

Surfin‘ Puffin Records

Surfin’ Puffin Records is our own independent music label — and it’s a feeling. Like the puffin, we believe in loyalty, belonging, and the quiet power of returning to the things that matter. Inspired by surfing, birdwatching and the wild beauty of the coast, Surfin’ Puffin Records supports not only independent music, but also biodiversity. 10% of all label income goes to BirdLife Switzerland.

Max Berend X Tabula Musica Orchestra

Max Berend toured together with the Tabula Musica Orchestra on the She, the Sea Tour. The performances were organized with sign language interpreters. We wanted to be where the mainstream can be found, in order to demonstrate: Together we can live inclusion and create participation and belonging naturally.

The Surf Project

The Surf Project offers surfing lessons for children with Down Syndrome, autism or ADHD. Under professional guidance he kids are given wonderful days full of fun and freedom. The results are astonishing as the children grow in confidence and their personal development is given a huge boost. We donate 10% of our shop sales to support this great empowerment.

Aima Music Academy

The Aima Music Academy in Lira, Uganda, makes learning to play musical instruments accessible for everyone. However, instruments are rare and usually too expensive. So we support them by collecting instruments and sending them to Lira. It all started with a simple question and ended with an exchange of music. We want to keep this energy going!
